On this day – February 26
On this day in 1915 Norway’s Pavilion was dedicated. The pavilion contained exhibits of the country’s varied industries, including mining, timber, and paper production. The great hall contained cultural exhibits as well, including a replica of the famous Oseberg burial ship, which was excavated near Tønsberg, Norway in 1904-05.
