Play like it’s 1915 – 100th Anniversary of Wells Fargo Day at the PPIE

Wells Fargo History Museum
Jun 15, 10:00AM – 04:00PM

June 15, 1915 was proclaimed “Wells Fargo Day” to honor the company’s service and support of the PPIE. Wells Fargo employees and their families joined a parade from the Ferry Building to the PPIE fairgrounds, accompanied by an employee marching band and an authentic stagecoach from our express history.

On this June 15, 2015 a special event at the Wells Fargo History Museum in San Francisco will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the original Wells Fargo Day. The theme will be “Play like it’s 1915” and feature fun games of luck and skill in the spirit of “The Joy Zone” – PPIE’s amusement park.

At the Joy Zone, visitors and Wells Fargo employees alike enjoyed the best carnival entertainment that 1915 had to offer: outlandish building designs, roller coaster rides and carousels, and races of all kinds.

Join us at the museum for our Wells Fargo Day celebration, and play like it’s 1915. Visitors can enjoy free popcorn and receive a replica of the original 1915 Wells Fargo Day ribbon.
