History for Half Pints: Arts, Crafts, and Storytelling

California Historical Society
Jun 13, 11:00AM – 03:00PM

Join us for our monthly family program, History for Half Pints: Arts and Crafts. Help us celebrate a year of events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition (PPIE), San Francisco’s 1915 world’s fair, by making PPIE admission badges with our button maker, stickers, and more!

Come build the World’s Fair out of reusable materials! What would you name your very own Palace, how would you design it? Come by and show us your building skills!

Make a cereal box ukulele and jam with us. Ukeles were introduced to the mainland during the 1915 world’s fair.

Take a breather and listen to a story read by long-time Screen Actors Guild Book Pals Reader, Teresa at 1:00 PM
