On this day in 1915
On this day in 1915 the Panama-Pacific International Exposition opened to the public. More than 250,000 attendees flocked to the fairground on the first day of the Exposition, but even the most ardent attendees could barely scratch the surface of the 80,000 exhibits and displays. Join us in celebrating the Centennial of this important moment in San Francisco’s history by visiting Community Day at the Palace of Fine Arts on Saturday, February 21.
